BIG 5
Big 5 is a consortium of Chinese-American affiliated student organizations from various universities in Southern California. USC CASA is proud to be a member of Big 5, alongside our four sister organizations—UCLA's Association of Chinese Americans (UCLA ACA), UCI's Chinese Association (CAUCI), UCSD's Chinese American Student Association (UCSD CASA), and UCR's Chinese Student Association (UCR CSA).
Throughout the year, Big 5 collaborates on and hosts multiple events for our members to expand their horizons, have the opportunity to meet and mingle with new people, and foster strong, lasting relationships outside of USC. These events have included include our annual Chinese Heritage Festival, multiple clubbing events, Culture Show and CACN support, a Big 5 pen-pal program, and even a Big 5 League of Legends tournament. Participating in Big 5 events is a great way for our members to be able to make new friends at other schools and travel around Southern California, but is also a great way to bond closer with the CASA family as well.
